Boundaries are Unshakable

So, I have finished Ecclesiastes. Going into the Song of Solomon. Which I believe has significant relevance.

The Song of Solomon is proof of God’s love and the proper way that a man and woman should love one another. An epistle of His love for us.

But for right now that’s neither here nor there. Ecclesiastes was so good that I decided to go through it again. As I was reading in the first chapter. Solomon is speaking on many things.

There is Nothing New Under the Sun

Chapter 1 and verses 3-7 state, “What advantage does man have from all his work, which he does under the sun (while earthbound)? One generation goes and another generation comes, but the earth remains forever. Also, the sun rises and the sun sets; and hurries to the place where it rises again. The wind blows toward the south, then circles toward the north; the wind circles and swirls endlessly and on a circular course the wind returns. All the rivers flow into the sea, yet the seat is not full. To the place where the rivers flow, there they flow again” (AMP).

As I was reading it, the Holy Spirit impressed upon me the importance of boundaries. When He set everything in motion. In His infinite wisdom, He also set lines of demarcation.

Established in The Beginning

If you go back to the beginning of Genesis when God created the heavens and earth, He commanded: “Let there be a firmament in the midst of waters, and let it divide the waters from waters” (Chapter 1: 6, KJV).

From the very beginning of His creation, the chaotic form He called earth was separated from heaven. A spiritual principle.
Even good and evil were established and separated before this. This confirms why discipline and self-accountability are so important.

I will repeat that angels are not mindless beings that are subject to God with no will. If that were true, then Lucifer and his army would not have fallen. Moreso, destroyed by pride.

One of Many False Narratives

We are deceived by those who would manipulate us. Pushing falsely concocted information. That we should have the right to live however we want.

I have even recently seen how a group of people is disputing biblical text. Saying that effeminate and homosexuality was never intended to be in the Bible. That it is a “transcription error”.

To be entitled, reckless, privileged, and having no self-control is leading to the destruction of mankind. The blatant violation of a basic principle that was established before man was even created.

But this concept is confirmed in this profound scripture. “Let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14: 40, KJV).

“That which has been is that which will be [again], and that which has been done is that which will be done again. So there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1: 9, AMP).

We All Fall Short

This is an important truth within boundaries. A direct correlation with time and events. A cycle that repeats itself. Ultimately becoming worse. But for God’s elect. You should be striving to be better. For holiness. Not perfection.

The beginning (a synonym for boundary) is established. A spiritual and physical answer as to why we see the earth imploding.
And now we see people trying to think of ways of how to come back to this. The former. But in all honesty. Because man has violated the laws for so long there is no way to undo the damage.

This is confirmed. “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (Romans 8: 22, KJV).

Picture 07 - Romans 8:22 KJV - For we know that the whole creation groaneth and - Bible Verse Picture

Let me put it simply. The weight of sin is not only destroying man. It is destroying the earth. It has nothing to do with global warming. It is written!
The destruction of earth has been sealed. There is nothing that mere man can do to reverse this.

Confirmed Throughout the Word

Again, in the book of Ecclesiastes, it says, “What is crooked cannot be straightened and what is defective and lacking cannot be counted” (1: 15, AMP).

As Solomon was attempting to obtain pleasure. Indulging in self-gratification. While attempting to remain sober and discerning. As he ruled his kingdom. He found that he could not do both at the same time.

Solomon recounts how he did great works. Built houses. Planted vineyards, gardens, and orchards. Had numerous servants, wives, and concubines. Just to name a few.

Solomon admitted that he was lost in self-indulgence. Outside of the will of God.

What Does It Profit a Man…

He realized that he was just chasing the wind. The deeper meaning of this is that he would never be satisfied. “For what does it benefit a man to gain the whole world [with all its pleasures], and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8: 36, AMP).

Solomon describes this as vanity (futility, meaningless). That apart from God it is nothing.

He even expressed that he hated his life. Ecclesiastes 2: 23, indicates that man is affected mentally and psychologically. “For all his days his work is painful and sorrowful; even at night his mind does not rest. This too is vanity (worthless)” (AMP).

Picture 05 - Ecclesiastes 2:23 KJV - For all his days are sorrows, and his travail - Bible Verse Picture

Solomon began meditating on this purposefulness. In the end, he would die, and all his hard labor will be given to someone else.

Death is Inevitable

This is so profound that it deserves a repeat. “For the [earthly] fate of the sons of men and the fate of animals is the same. As one dies, so dies the other; indeed, they all have the same breath and there is no preeminence or advantage for man [in and of himself] over an animal, for all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 3: 19, AMP).

As I’ve repeatedly said, in order to get through this life and be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. To know that you are fulfilling your ordained purpose in God. You have got to seek God and that joy and peace that only He can give. That surpasses man’s understanding.

There is no happiness outside of Him. This is why so many people are becoming increasingly evil, discontent, angry, bitter, envious, and full of jealousy. And every other evil work.

Do Not Be Deceived

So, when you hear people say live your life. Do you because I’m gone do me. That is a lie straight from the devil and is not based in sound wisdom and Godly doctrine.

This is not self-discipline. It is not maintaining healthy standards.

Everything in life is meant to have balance. The lack thereof is causing everything to shift. Like a car that is teetering over the edge of a steep cliff. To a point of no return. This shift is permanent.

When you are in right standing with God. You need not fear.

So don’t get it twisted. You don’t just live and die. You live, you die, and then you are judged. So just remember that.
