Embrace Your Anointing!!!

Yesterday was particularly troubling for me. Held in abeyance to a situation that I created, until the inconvenient time of its fulfillment.

Lesson #1: take accountability that we may open the door of confusion in our own lives.

Consequently, I had been running from another situation. One that the Holy Spirit is now requiring me to confront. In our lives we have strengths that we build on. These gifts are easily enhanced and increasingly secured.

But for our robustness we encounter weaknesses. If you have been blessed with many talents. You are more likely to avoid your deficiencies. Do you hear me? When you are stronger in certain areas, the natural human inclination is to avoid prostration.

Are You Running from or Avoiding Your Potential as a Conqueror?

Let me simplify this. You are more likely to run from a challenge. This is why the most unseemly have the breakthroughs that we fail to achieve.
I have a son that would always ask for things that he wanted, no matter how unreasonable. Whereas another son would be so content that he would not ask, and it was given.

The former became more resilient and learned to ask for more. Knowing that he would either receive what he asked for or be rejected. Without being deterred, he is more likely to prosper because he counted neither as loss nor gain. He took it to heart that whether he was told yes or no he would continue without allowing it to become a hindrance in his perseverance. His resilience became heightened.

Are You Allowing Pride to Hinder Untapped Potential?

This is important for people who say, “I don’t like to ask someone for something, and they tell me no, so I just won’t”. Do you now understand how debilitating this can be?

The latter son will not ask but will work harder to obtain what is needed even if unsuccessful. He may then stop pursuing the matter altogether.

Understand how magnifying the anointing is if you combine these attributes. “Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7: 7, AMP).

Lesson #2: Being inquisitive and determination are stronger when combined.

Let’s go back to the first lesson because it leads to a third and fourth and maybe even a fifth. The error that I made gave the enemy opportunity to attack me in several ways.

Stop Expecting Sympathy from the Devil

Understand this, he will use petty individuals to make you angry. He will manipulate the situation in which you deduce yourself to a pity party. You will complain incessantly about a situation while the person you are pleading to attempts to pry for more details. Under the guise that they only want to help. But in reality, they can’t or won’t.

Let’s analyze this. Don’t waste time and energy explaining yourself to others. Firstly, many don’t have the capacity to help even if they really want to. While others have this sick and twisted mentality. They listen intently while this malevolent spirit is relishing in your suffering. Simply put, this individual is complacent.

Liken this to giving someone with an addiction the substance to which he is bound. Nothing else will matter.

Death and Life Lie in the Power of the Tongue

Spiritually, you may be speaking destruction upon your situation. Because you are inherently telling Jesus that you really don’t trust Him.

Delving even further. You are crying and whining. If I complain enough, someone may be able to save me. To put it concisely, I will put my trust in man, because I am not believing that God is able.

I came to a stark realization yesterday morning as people were purposefully ignoring me and treating me with contempt. Although I would never display such apathy and indifference as I experience. When you are anointed, expect it.

Count it All Joy. That You May Become Perfect. Lacking Nothing.

Thinking about these small-minded individuals, I started to feel sorry for myself. I called the devil out for his trifling behavior.

Newsflash!!! Calling Satan petty or believing that you can reason with him is likened unto a peaceful man attempting to rationalize with a cold-blooded murderer who specializes in barbarism. Do you understand?

When you do this, as God’s anointed, you will ignorantly overlook those who the LORD gives you favor with. Who will go out of their way to treat you with kindness, compassion, and empathy. Trivializing them in your eyes because you are focusing on your “woe is me” attitude.

Lesson #3: Let pettiness rest in itself!!! There are so many scriptures that I can put here. But what I want you to realize is that offenses will come.

We question this as humans all the time. But I now realize why we are told to embrace affliction. Once you get this, you will excel. This is truly the beginning of peace. Making you immovable. (Read Romans 5: 1-3, KJV or AMP.)

Picture 04 - Romans 5:3 KJV - And not only so, but we glory in tribulations - Bible Verse Picture

Let me give you some synonyms for immovable. Anchored, rooted, secured, established, and last but not least quiet.

The Importance of Forbearing in Silence

This is why we are told over and over again to wait patiently and quietly in the LORD. Remember, “And let us not grow weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6: 9, KJV).

Lesson #4: God is truthful to His word. Whenever you feel discouraged, remember that there is recompense with the LORD.
Psalm 37 is powerful. Beginning with this. “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity (37: 1, KJV).

Confirming even further, “Be still before the LORD; wait patiently for Him and entrust yourself to Him; Do not fret (whine or agonize) because of him who prospers in the way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes” (37: 7, AMP).

And again, this is important, because after pity, then comes anger, leading to reaction and its dire consequences. “Cease from anger and abandon wrath; Do not fret it leads only to evil” (37: 8, AMP).

Trust in the LORD and Watch Him Vindicate You

The promise, if we trust: “Wait for and expect the LORD and keep His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; [In the end] when the wicked are cut off, you will see it” (37: 34, AMP)

Let me confirm this one in another beloved Psalm 91. “You will only [be a spectator as you] look on with your own eyes and witness the [divine] repayment of the wicked [as you watch safely from the shelter of the Most High]” (91: 8, AMP).

Prior to all of this I was led to go back to the book of Psalms. Running across what the Spirit intended for my focus to remain on. Because He knew what was coming. “By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me” (Psalm 41: 11, KJV). Read that one again.

The Divine Revelation

When I recognized the stupidity in how I was handling the matter, not only being deceived, but being robbed in my quest for cessation, I shut up! And that is when and where I found the peace of God.

Finally, Lesson #5: If you don’t embrace the fact that offenses will come. You alone will separate yourself from God. This is confirmed as you become filled with fear and anxiety. Stagnant, resentful, and disobedient.

Recognizing the disconnect cut me like dull a knife. Darkness surrounded me. I felt alone, vulnerable, and defeated. I truly believed that God had forsaken me. Making me frantic and desperate to reconnect. Leaving me with a glaring realization. It is not by might or power, but only by His Spirit!!!

Picture 07 - Zechariah 4:6 KJV - Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This - Bible Verse Picture

My constant prayer as a young child is still relevant. “If You (meaning the LORD) are not going to go with me, then take me from this earth because I don’t want to go”.

I am a work in progress, but I refuse to give up and as for the title. GET THE LESSON!!!

Always coming from a place of love and in truth!!!
