God Will Confirm and Reaffirm!!!
I am in Deuteronomy Chapter 5 at this time. But before I go there, I also feel led to read “The Ancient Book of Jasher, A New Annotated Edition” by Ken Johnson, Th. D., referred to hereafter as “Jasher” in my writings. I purchased this book from Pastor Omar Thibeaux’s website “The School of the Hebrews”.
Unsure of how the LORD is leading me in this moment, I have prayed for guidance by the Holy Spirit. I trust the LORD. Nothing is happenstance with God. Let the Father’s will be done in Jesus’ name, amen.
This book starts with a bold heading that I want you to meditate on: “I AM – Creation”. As I wrote in my last post, it is God who determined the order of man, the order of the nations. Let us highlight it again, “And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories. This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us” (Acts 17: 26-27, AMP).
But before I go on, I must take accountability for the thing that I said. Being corrected, I need to apologize. Before listening to Celestial of “The Master’s Voice Prophecy Blog” recently, I stated that I could not even listen to someone that attempts to come to me with any depiction of Jesus, particularly Sallman’s version of the “Head of Christ”. But credit must be given, that part of the European nations’ legacy is the fact that they, regardless of intent, were willing to take the gospel all over the world, “enlightening countless others”.
Truth is Truth and Jesus is Jesus
She confirmed what bothers me most, and that is that we don’t take the time to study the Word and know Him for ourselves. As she affirmed it with this statement, “The Gospel has to be separated from its historical past. Using Jesus as a coverup for colonization, oppression, or for anything else, does not negate the fact that truth is truth and that Jesus is Jesus…”. I agree fully with this. I have repented and I apologize. I also need to be reminded that this is exactly what I believe, although not said by me verbatim, and how frustrating it is to me when black people doubt Jesus, with phrases similarly stating that this book was written by the “white man”. I don’t want to deter anyone from finding Jesus, because as we mature in Him, we come into the truth in our own times and in our own individualized ways. While learning that it is always wise to be swift to hear and slow to speak. Carefully discerning our own thoughts and opinions, that may not align with His Word.
Listen to Paul’s confirmation. “Some, it is true, are [actually] preaching Christ out of envy and rivalry [toward me—for no better reason than a competitive spirit or misguided ambition], but others out of goodwill and a loyal spirit [toward me]. The latter [preach Christ] out of love, because they know that I have been put here [by God on purpose] for the defense of the gospel; but the former preach Christ [insincerely] out of selfish ambition [just self-promotion], thinking they are causing me distress in my imprisonment. What then [does it matter]? So long as in every way, whether in pretense [for self-promotion] or in all honesty [to spread the truth], Christ is being preached; and in this I rejoice” (Philippians 1: 15-18, KJV).
The Breath of Life
“And God formed man from the ground, and He blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul endowed with speech” (Jasher 1: 2). God’s sovereignty is shown by the fact that when He blew into Adam’s nostrils, He did so one time. Man is limited in ability. Even being redundant in his daily living. But God is the Spirit of all spirits. That one breath has and is giving life to every soul born on this earth. So powerful and majestic, that He did not have to repeat it. It was established in heaven and on earth.
We as humans are limited and finite. This is why God confirms and reaffirms His Commandments and laws to us. It is why so much time is spent in these areas. It is confirmed by how quickly we stray from a straight and narrow path, as evidenced by every man created. And why we are told to cling to Him.
“Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; Him shalt thou serve, and to Him shalt thou cleave, and swear by His name” (Deuteronomy 10: 20, KJV). And again, “But you are to cling to the LORD your God, just as you have done to this day” (Joshua 23: 8, AMP).
As we enter Deuteronomy chapter 5, let me leave you with a confirmation of the order of man created by God. “And the LORD caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept, and He took away one of his ribs, and He built flesh upon it, and formed it and brought it to Adam, and Adam awoke from his sleep, and behold a woman was standing before him. And he said, This is a bone of my bones and it shall be called woman, for this has been taken from man; and Adam called her name Eve, for she was the mother of all living” (Jasher 1: 4-5).
Obedience is Better Than Sacrifice
“And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgements which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep them, and do them. The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire, (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, ‘I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage’” (Deuteronomy 5: 1-6, KJV).
Again, God continues to put great emphasis on the importance of obedience. The Holy Spirit has given me the understanding that when God placed Adam and his wife in the garden of Eden, it was a place of protection from the evil that roamed the earth. A territory and boundary unto them. That is why they were told not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The Book of Jasher distinguishes that because of their disobedience God was vexed. “And Adam and his wife transgressed the command of God which He commanded them, and God knew it, and His anger was kindled against them and he cursed them” (Jasher 1: 11). Some may look and attempt to dispute this reminding us, “And unto Adam He said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;” (Genesis 3: 17, KJV).
Do Not Be Deceived
Don’t let the enemy deceive you, Adam was created from the dust of the earth and Eve from his bone. It is this proximity that bound the curse unto all men. Not just the ground. Establishing the continual atonement of animal sacrifices, that could not be made obsolete, until the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ was made, when He died for our sins.
“‘Thou shalt have none other gods before Me. Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me and keep My commandments’” (Deuteronomy 4: 7-10, KJV).
Let me digress for a moment. Even more so today, some would have you believe that there is life and other worlds in “outer space”, so I feel the need to revisit this. Waters and darkness was under the heavens and above the earth prior to and during the earth’s creation. Nowhere did God say that He created a planetary and exoplanetary system.
We are deceived by being taught that gravity does not exist outside of earth. Why? Satan and the government are desensitizing you to demonic, soulless creatures to come. If the earth were truly round where is the waters that are under the earth? This is why you never see it in their fake photos.
There Are Not Four Corners on A Sphere
“Then God said, ‘Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place [of standing, pooling together], and let the dry land appear’; and it was so” (Genesis 1: 9, AMP). This is confirmed by Deuteronomy 5: 8, “Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth”. Water cannot pool under a round surface. Gravity will bring it down. Which is why Peter could not walk on water and would have drowned had it not been for Jesus. In order for water to “pool”, it needs a flat surface, or a bottom. A supernatural force such as the firmament that separates the waters from the heaven above to the earth beneath.
This is why it is written, “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights” (Genesis 7: 11-12, KJV). As the Holy Ghost revealed to me in the past, the water was pouring from heaven above and from below, or under the earth. It was impossible for the waters to withdraw back without God intervening. Imagine how fearful and traumatic this had to have been for Noah, his family, and the other inhabitants of the Ark.
And again, “And God remembered and thought kindly of Noah and every living thing and all the animals that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind blow over the land, and the waters receded. Also the fountains of the deep [subterranean waters] and the windows of the heavens were closed, the [pouring] rain from the sky was restrained” Genesis 8: 1-2, AMP).
The definition of subterranean is existing, occurring, or done under the earth’s surface. Where do you think men got the idea of using “air movers” after a building has flooded. This is why it is foolish to continue to believe in a round earth. And that “astronauts” travel in “outer space”.
You Shall Not Take the Name of The LORD in Vain
“‘You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain [that is, irreverently, in false affirmations or in ways that impugn the character of God]; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless nor leave unpunished the ones who takes His name in vain [disregarding its reverence and its power]’”(Deuteronomy 5: 11, AMP). For me, this verse will stand alone because it is done frequently in movies, and just casually in everyday contact with individuals. I marvel at the fact that people will say, “Jesus blank Christ” or “God “blank”, and at how smoothly it rolls off their tongue. Those same ones will say, “I am a Christian” and “We are good people”.
Even in my finite mind, I fear God too much to be so reckless. Even in His Word and other resources such as “The Legends Of The Jews Complete” by Louis Ginzberg, I know without a shadow of a doubt you DO NOT know the LORD’s nature and wrath. I wouldn’t dare. These are foul spirits. Let me confirm it. I want you to pay attention because we will not be held guiltless. And even though this speaks of others it affirms the sinister, satanic spirits involved.
“And I saw three loathsome spirits like frogs, leaping from the mouth of the dragon (Satan) and from the mouth of the beast (Antichrist, dictator) and from the mouth of the false prophet; for they are [actually] the spirit of demons, performing [miraculous] signs. And they go out to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty” (Revelation 16: 13-14, AMP).
They don’t just go out to kings but to any man that will allow it. This is manifested all over the world at how casually, these and other phrases are used, as they take the LORD’s name in vain. These are vile, filthy spirits.
Do Unto Others as You Would Have Them Do unto You
“‘Observe the Sabbath day to keep it holy (set apart, dedicated to God), as the LORD your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath [a day of rest dedicated] to the LORD your God; on that day you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock or the stranger who stays inside your [city] gates, so that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
“You shall remember [with thoughtful concern] that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD your God brought you up out of there with a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the LORD your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day’” (Deuteronomy 5: 12-15, AMP).
The Sabbath was made holy, blessed, and sanctified. And in this instance, He was telling the Israelites and those that dwell with them that this was to be a day to meditate on His goodness. In remembrance of every thing that He has done and still does for us. A day to worship and bless His holy name. A habitual oath, that we may never forget where He brought us from. Even from the beginning of creation. In His kindness, He even considers the beasts of the field, unlike many today, who don’t even think that the “lowly” man deserves to rest. Especially if it affects their bottom line.
“‘Honor (respect, obey, care for) your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that your days [on the earth] may be prolonged and so that it may go well with you in the land which your LORD God gives you. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal.
Build Your House on The Rock
“You shall not give false testimony [that is, lie, withhold, or manipulate the truth] against your neighbor (any person). You shall not covet [that is, desire and seek to acquire] your neighbor’s wife, nor desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his male servant or his female servant, his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor’” (Deuteronomy 5: 16-21, AMP).
The LORD laid the foundation. And as a reminder, it is impossible to break one commandment without breaking them all. We must do a deep introspection of our lives daily. Taking accountability for our transgressions. Recognizing our sins, with sincere repentance and a willingness to do better.
“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it” (Matthew 7: 24-27, KJV).
“These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and He added no more. And He wrote them in two tablets of stone and delivered them unto me. And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; and ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
Our God is a Consuming Fire
“Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die. For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it” (Deuteronomy 5: 22-27, KJV).
Here is the reminder: our God is a consuming fire. When He came to Moses the bush burned but was not consumed. The mountain burned before Israel and because they were unclean and unholy, they would not survive in His presence without Moses standing in the gap for them. When the LORD spoke to the Israelites at Mount Sinai, He warned them not to approach the mountain even after they sanctified themselves for three days. This purification was done superficially by the Israelites. They did not cleanse their hearts in sincere repentance.
“And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it” (Exodus 19: 23, KJV). Read chapter 19 in its entirety. Had Moses not been listening and obedient when the LORD spoke, many would have died that day. Only Moses and Aaron were allowed on the mount. “See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand. For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever” (Deuteronomy 32: 39-40, KJV).
These People Honor Me with Their Lips
There is so much wickedness in the world. But judgment lieth at the door. God’s Word will confirm that evil is allowed to rule when we don’t walk in accordance with God’s laws and statutes.
Now again, the people knew that they were unclean and would be destroyed had they remained in God’s presence. They were all too willing to ask Moses to be their intercessor. But I want you to pay attention as God exposes their hearts. And why this scripture is so relevant. “Then the LORD said, ‘Because this nation approaches [Me only] with their words and honors Me [only] with their lip service, but they remove their hearts far from Me, and their reverence for Me is a tradition that is learned by rote [without any regard for its meaning]’” (Isaiah 29: 13, AMP).
“And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Choose Life That You May Live
“Go say to them, Get you into your tents again. But as for thee, stand thou here by Me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess” (Deuteronomy 5: 28-33, KJV).
As we proceed, please know that the Ten Commandments are the foundation of righteous laws that have been established since their founding. So as we deviate from these, we remove ourselves from God’s grace. These are then expounded upon, as the building blocks to a more in-depth, meticulously designed structure that is meant to preserve human life. You cannot break just one without breaking the whole law. As they are spiritually adjoined, aligned, and interconnected.
