Hope in Times of Discouragement!!!

Yesterday I found myself in a situation that didn’t turn out the way I hoped it would. I knew that I was obedient. But I felt an urging in my spirit.
God was warning me not to become discouraged by the outcome. And today He comforted me by letting me know that my heart was in the right place. I hope that this will encourage others.

There is an intricate balance between reaping and sowing. Because we don’t see the consequences of our actions and decisions, we can easily ignore and tempt fate.

I was attempting to right a wrong so that it would not happen to someone else. Becoming upset because I saw no sign of understanding. Of remorse. No cognizant awareness of moral courage. Knowing right from wrong. Treating ALL men the way you want to be treated.

The Holy Spirit endows us intuitively. And we have to learn to trust the process. The Spirit guided me in prayer. While giving me revelation through His Word.

To Whom Much is Given Much is Required

“For whosoever has [spiritual wisdom because he is receptive to God’s word], to him more will be given, and he will be richly and abundantly supplied; but whoever does not have [spiritual] wisdom because he has devalued God’s word], even what he has will be taken away from him” (Matthew 13: 12, AMP)

The enemy wants us to believe that we are ineffective. So many will give up. But I am going to show you the powerful meekness of the Holy Spirit.

It is written. “But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations]of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]” (1 Corinthians 2: 14, AMP).

You see I felt as if I lost the battle. Thus, I felt disparaged. Spiritually afflicted.

They Seeing See Not and Hearing Hear Not

Listen to how Jesus responded. “This is the reason I speak to the crowds in parables: because while [having the power of] seeing they do not see, and while [having the power of] hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand and grasp [spiritual things].

“In them, the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, YOU WILL HEAR and KEEP ON HEARING, BUT NEVER UNDERSTAND; AND YOU WILL LOOK and KEEP ON LOOKING, BUT NEVER COMPREHEND;

“‘FOR THIS NATION’S HEART HAS GROWN HARD, AND WITH THEIR EARS THEY HARDLY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE [tightly] CLOSED THEIR EYES, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, AND HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART, AND TURN [to Me] AND I WOULD HEAL THEM [spiritually]'”(Matthew 13: 13-15, AMP).

Having a Form of Godliness

For us, the battle is not lost. But those who refuse spiritual growth and maturity, have already rejected God in their hearts. They will be in the background and comment sections, in the audience, shouting amen and hallelujah. Never seeing any bonds or generational curses broken because they have no substance.
This is where the parable of the sower comes in. Confirming the relevance of these next scriptures. For men and women. Making us aware of how easy it is for the wolves who come in sheep’s clothing.

“For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate morally weak and spiritually-dwarfed women weighed down by [the burden of their] sins, easily swayed by various impulses, always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

But Denying the Power Thereof

(Again, men, pay attention. Because people like to wrest the scriptures but when men are walking in “feminine energy”, they experience the same outcomes.)

“Just as Joanne’s and Jambres [the court magicians of Egypt] opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, unqualified and worthless [as teachers] in regard to the faith” (2 Timothy 3: 6-8, AMP).

Why, you ask? Here it is! “Holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them” (2 Timothy 3: 5, AMP).

Even those who sit in places of authority. They attempt to make you feel less than others. But the underlying spirit is not of God. Unjust men sit in positions of authority and are afraid to hold others to a higher standard. Wreaking havoc while allowing others to inflict the same cruel maltreatment.

His Grace is Sufficient for Me

But remember this when you start to feel weak and ineffective. As you start to question your calling and faith. There will always be the tares among the wheat. And for the sake of time, meditate on these last scriptures.

“Another parable put he forth unto them saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which man took, and sowed in his field: which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof” (Matthew 13: 31-32, KJV).

And He quickly followed up with confirmation. “Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and his in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened” (Matthew 13: 33, KJV).

What may seem small and insignificant to us is sometimes being hidden, while protected and nurtured. Rest in this: You are being built on the rock. The chief Cornerstone. “And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock” (Matthew 7: 25, AMP). It is the one that endures to the end that will be saved.
