Sanctify Your Vessel in Holiness!!!
This morning, I had a very sobering conversation with my daughter. I was awakened out of my sleep by God. It is a nudging that is internal, and you know that something is being required of you.
I won’t divulge our entire conversation, but I did warn her that God is not to be played with. I will never understand how you can say that you love someone yet refuse to warn them of what is to come.
On the cusp of this I had a coworker come to me out of the blue and begin to say that she is a third-generation nurse and that her grandmother diligently fought for the rights of black people and those who practice homosexuality. That she came from a background rooted in the Baptist church and also Catholicism.
She stated that there were other chromosomes besides X and Y and that she did not believe “every” word in the Bible. I listened politely and then I told her that I believe every Word in the Bible. This morning I was given a revelation. To not believe, or to believe in part means that you do not believe in Jesus Christ. Many may deny this, but it is true. As the Spirit pointed this out, He confirmed it with these scriptures that I will give in the amplified version. Meditate on and read it at least three times, allowing it to rest in your spirit.
“In the beginning [before all time] (because God created the times and the seasons) was the Word (Christ), and the Word (Christ) was with God, and the Word (Christ) was God Himself. He (Christ) was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him (Christ); and without Him (Christ) not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him (Christ) was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life (Christ) was the Light of men. (Now pay attention!) The Light (Christ) shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it]” (John 1: 1-5, AMP).
Love Does Not Delight in Evil but Rejoices in Truth
People say that they love their family and friends and believe that it gives them the right to overlook evil. That they should hold themselves higher than God Himself by saying, “I absolve you of your sin”. Who would ignore the Holy Scriptures because they feel sorry for them and because they themselves are full of transgression. So that while they overlook wrongdoing in others, the same should be done unto them.
I spoke to my daughter, that my children will say, I love my brothers and sisters, but you don’t love each other enough to warn them of impending judgment. A judgment that has two outcomes. Darkness and torment in a lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels, where the worm dieth not. Where you have been given a new body that will withstand torment that only God can inflict, that will never be utterly destroyed. A horror that lasts forever.
Or the reassurance given by God Himself. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him” (1 Corinthians 2: 9, KJV).
Before I proceed, let me give you some synonyms for the word torment: agony, misery, horror, murder, HELL, and curse. To name a few.
When the aforementioned nurse told me that she had black friends, in my heart I said, “So do I”. When she said that she has homosexual family members, in my heart I said, “So do I”. She then went on to say that she won’t judge them. So let me put this here: how am I being condemnatory if I love you enough to warn you of what is coming if you don’t stop playing with God. Because to me, it takes a special kind of hate not to warn someone that you say you love.
Not One Jot or Tittle Shall Pass Away
Just because you choose not to believe, it will not make God’s Word void. You think in your flesh, as the last and most insignificant thing created by God, the weakest part of creation, that only ever has had dominion by the Word of God, that you can actually make His Word invalid and unenforceable? As it is written, “So you nullify the [authority of the] word of God [acting as if it did not apply] because of YOUR traditions which you have handed down [through the elders]. And you do many things such as that” (Mark 7: 13, AMP).
This is why for the eternal awareness and judgement of every being including man, God judged by Himself, the heavens, the earth, and even the rocks. Never by any man because what is he but dust? He establishes His Word by the immovable. “If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself” (2 Timothy 2: 13, KJV). “For when God made the promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by Himself” (Hebrews 6: 13, KJV).
We as men should never esteem ourselves above the filthy rags that we are. Our oaths are personal, good or bad, they are only deemed significant in our own carnal eyes. But even so, we are still expected to keep them. Yet God does not depend on man’s word for anything.
As spoken by Moses, the man of God, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live” (Deuteronomy 30: 19, KJV). And again, by Joshua, verifying that all of God’s creation is living. “Joshua then said to all the people, ‘Look, this stone shall serve as a witness against us, for it has heard all the words of the LORD which He spoke to us; so it shall be a witness against you, so that [afterward] you do not deny your God” (Joshua 24: 27, AMP).
If Any Man Defiles His Temple God Will Destroy Him
I will share that one of the things that I spoke to my daughter about was the sin of fornication. Even though all sexual immorality is wrong. This is what the Holy Spirit imparted to me to tell her, for every area of offense in our lives. “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Corinthians 3: 17, KJV).
Now none of us are perfect and unless you grow your own food, as much as you can possibly control the climate and what your plants and animals consume, you don’t know what you are eating. What I do know is that people all over the internet are providing videos of nasty individuals and cursed things, which we are consuming by a malicious sadist beast system. Pollution and poisonous chemicals permeate the air and even the water that we drink. Factors contributing to the morbidity and mortality of mankind, whether done purposefully or in ignorance, at an accelerated rate.
As I stay in the vein of where the Spirit is leading, I confess that I don’t follow these strict guidelines of why God only wanted His people to eat or drink certain foods. Through guidance by the Spirit, I will explain why He is even interested in what we consume. His loving nature and sovereign power as Alpha and Omega, the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
There is always risks in anything we do that we are commanded to abstain from. God’s warnings are never for nought.
“Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations of the earth” (Deuteronomy 14: 1-2, KJV). If you have been paying attention, no man or woman, or child, will persuade God in the day of reckoning. When you tattoo names or faces on a mortal body, or any graven image, that will die and return to the dirt that we are made from, what have you accomplished?
Jesus Will Judge the Quick and The Dead
“I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom” (2 Timothy 4: 1, AMP). “See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand” (Deuteronomy 32: 39, KJV). What is forsaking God’s laws going to accomplish for mere men?
Before I proceed, I want to share an experience from my own life. Many of us spend countless hours every day scrolling through social media posts. I had recently prayed to the LORD for help with this waste of time that I can never get back. This is how God decided to answer me. As I was scrolling through videos and posts, two random videos appeared on my line. One was of a foreign man sodomizing another younger, seemingly more vulnerable man in the kitchen of a restaurant, and the other was of two black males exchanging gunfire. One was shot, dropped to the ground, and then shot several more times as he lay dying. It was overkill.
I was so angry and upset that I deleted TikTok. In those few seconds, I felt the demonic forces that were attempting to attack and pull me into lasciviousness. A stark warning that you cannot play with the devil. “Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned” (Proverbs 6: 27, KJV).
Let us commit ourselves to meditate on the Word of the LORD, as I only installed this app to watch clips from “The Master’s Voice Prophecy Blog. Unable to get these images out of my mind and in utter disgust, I decided not to scroll through any timelines over and above five minutes and am now very deliberate with what I watch and listen to on different platforms and networks. To better understand the deceiving nature of the devil, your feed is usually adjusted to what you spend the most time lingering on and viewing. But the enemy is crafty, deliberately setting snares and traps. Because I do not watch those types of videos.
The Eye is The Lamp of The Body
“Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4: 8, KJV).
Bringing into fruition the full meaning of these passages: “The eye is the lamp of the body; so if your eye is clear [spiritually perceptive], your whole body will be full of light [benefiting from God’s precepts]. But if your eye is bad [spiritually blind], your whole body will be full of darkness [devoid of God’s precepts]. So if the [very] light inside you [your inner self, your heart, your conscience] is darkness, how great and terrible is that darkness!” (Matthew 6: 22-23, KJV).
Yet I digress. “Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing. These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat, the hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois. And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among beasts, that shall ye eat” (Deuteronomy 14: 3-6, KJV).
Upon research I learned that chewing the cud refers to a digestive process. Where animals regurgitate partially digested food. Chewing it again before swallowing. This is also known as “ruminating”. Now here is wisdom learned by others and shared. It is a metaphor for meditation on God’s Word. Suggesting “a deeper reflection and spiritual digestion of scripture. Just as these animals re-chew their food for optimal digestion, believers are encouraged to repeatedly reflect on and internalize God’s Word, allowing it to shape their thoughts and actions”. (An AI Overview).
“However, you are not to eat any of these [animals] among those which chew the cud, or among those that divide the hoof in two: the camel, the hare and the shaphan, for though they chew the cud, they do not split the hoof; they are unclean for you. The swine, because it has a divided hoof but does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. You shall not eat their meat nor touch their carcasses. Of all [creatures] that are in the waters, you may eat these, anything that has fins and scales you may eat, but you may not eat anything that does not have fins and scales; it is unclean for you. You may eat any clean bird” (Deuteronomy 14: 7-11, AMP).
Do Not Consume the Meat of Trash Collectors
As we continue, none of these “unclean animals” were carnivores. But they are carrion eaters, bottom feeders or scavengers. Just to give you further insight into the holiness of the LORD and how He always prioritizes the wellbeing of His people. Be mindful of these that were forbidden.
“But these are the ones which you shall not eat: the eagle, the vulture, and the black buzzard, and the red kite, the falcon, and the birds of prey of any variety, and every raven of any variety, and the ostrich, the owl, the seagull, the hawk of any variety, the little owl, the great owl, the long-eared owl, the pelican, the carrion vulture, the cormorant, the stork, and the heron of any variety, and the hoopoe, and the bat. And all the flying insects are unclean for you; they shall not be eaten. You may eat any clean bird” (Deuteronomy 14: 12-20, AMP).
I am going to take some excerpts from an article based on the book, “What Does The Bible Teach About Clean and Unclean Meats” written on August 20th of 2013, from the United Church of God. (Disclaimer: I am not an affiliate nor do I study them. I am just giving logical examples of love. That is transparent of the Almighty Father.
- Scavengers and carrion eaters devour other animals for food.”
- Pigs, bears, vultures, and raptors can eat and thrive on decaying flesh.
- Predatory animals such as wolves, lions, leopards, and cheetahs often prey on the weakest and diseased in animal herds.
- Lobsters and crabs scavenge for dead animals on the sea floor.
- Similarly, shellfish consume decaying organic matter that sinks to the sea floor, including sewage.
Many animals that God deemed unclean routinely eat flesh that would sicken or kill humans. So as we eat them, we are participating in a cycle that could be harmful and deadly to us as we ingest them.
Beware of Those Who Spread False Doctrine
Here is a final quote from nutritionist David Meinz. “Could it be that God in His wisdom created certain creatures whose sole purpose is to clean up after others? Their entire ‘calling’ may be to act exclusively as the sanitation workers of our ecology. God may simply be telling us that it’s better for us believers not to consume the meat of trash collectors” (1999, p. 225).
Now align this with false prophets, and others who have called themselves to ministry. Those who spread false doctrine. The vulgarity, licentiousness, and crude images that we are presented with daily. Pornography, murderers, liars, and oppressors. Human trafficking, those who sacrifice and eat men, women, and children, drinking and indulging in blood sacrifices. Witches, satanists, vile blasphemers, immoral, filthy, and obscene. Even this barely scratches the surface of the filth that transpires here.
But there is a penance for this because not every man was considered under God’s law and because of disobedience and our just punishment, and as we experience racial health disparities, we did not and still don’t have access to what was originally intended for us.
“You shall not eat anything that dies on its own. You may give it to the stranger (resident alien, foreigner) who is in your [city] gates, so that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner [since they are not under God’s law], but you are a people holy (set apart) to the LORD your God. You shall not boil a young goat or lamb in its mother’s milk” (Deuteronomy 14: 21, AMP). And that in itself is God’s warning to all people: do not practice barbarism. Defined as the absence of culture and civilization. Or extreme cruelty or brutality. Let’s be truthful, America is known all over the world for this. As we see it playing out on her streets in real time. Along with all the recalls from bread, fruit, and even deodorant.
“You shall eat the tithe (tenth) of your grain, your new wine , your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and your flock before the LORD your God in the place where He chooses to establish His name (Presence), so that you may learn to fear [and worship] the LORD your God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect] always.
The Tithe Was Meant to Prevent Famine
“If the place where the LORD God chooses to set His Name (Presence) is a great distance from you and you are not able to carry your tithe, because the LORD your God has blessed you [with such an abundance], then you shall exchange your tithe for money, and take the money in your hand and go to the place [of worship] which the LORD Your God chooses. You may spend the money for anything your heart desires: for oxen, or sheep, or wine, or [other] strong drink, or anything else you want. You shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice, you and your household” (Deuteronomy 14: 23-26, AMP).
As people in a stolen land who were not the original inhabitants, and now even some foreigners, who have the nerve to tell everyone else to go back where they come from, who attempt to justify ignorance, hate, and a blatant disregard and misinterpreting of the laws, God will not be mocked. For whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.
“Also, you shall not neglect the Levite who is within your [city] gates, for he does not have a share [of land] or an inheritance among you. At the end of every third year you shall bring out all the tithe of your produce for that year, and shall store it up within your [city] gates. The Levite, because he has no share [of land] or an inheritance among you, and the stranger, and the orphan and the widow who are within your [city] gates, shall come and eat and be satisfied, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands” (Deuteronomy 14: 27-29, AMP).
Whether We Live or Die We Do All Things unto God
Now, before I close, here is the penance that I touched on earlier. It is necessary to have wisdom and understanding because it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles but what comes out of the heart.
- “For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that which I give thanks? Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10: 30-31, KJV).
- “He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the LORD; and he that regardeth not the day, to the LORD he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the LORD, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the LORD he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the LORD; and whether we die, we die unto the LORD: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the LORD’s” (Romans 14: 6-8, KJV).
- “For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified [set apart, dedicated to God] by means of the word of God and prayer” (1 Timothy 4: 4-5, AMP).
