Tempted On ALL Points

I want to give you an utterance to the extent of how Jesus suffered and ensured that He understood the depth of eternal life and damnation. From a human perspective.

My desire is for you to recognize the intensity of God’s love for you. The compassion and understanding that He has for you.

The depth of the righteousness of the LORD. And His exhaustively thorough comprehension of His judgment and how it will affect His creation.

This is confirmation of the consistent pruning of the Spirit. “Blessed [morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness] are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil things against you because of [your association with] Me.

“Be glad and exceedingly joyful, for your reward in heaven is great [absolutely inexhaustible]; for in this same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matthew 5: 11-12, AMP). It is expected of us.

The Spirit Will Guide You Through All Things

Recognize that Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1). Satan left Him alone for forty days and nights. The enemy waited until He was weak and hungry.

The physiological needs of Jesus were unmet. There was no bed, shower, clothing, or any of the necessities that we are accustomed to in the wilderness. He was in His most vulnerable state.

At this time, He is tempted on all points. But His persecution did not stop there. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3: 16, KJV). He gave His very life for you.

There are two things that a man or woman can do to another person that I have always felt were most degrading. To spit on someone. And to lift your foot off the ground to kick someone in the behind. Even if done in a joking manner.

He Was Cruelly Scourged for You

Jesus was beaten and spit on. The term used for His whipping is that He was scourged. Its meaning is to cause great suffering and torment. He was ridiculed and mocked.

Before I reveal an aspect of His suffering that many overlook, let me confirm His selflessness.

“Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others, himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him come down from the cross, and we will believe him” (Matthew 27: 41-42, AMP).

Do you know why He did not come down from that cross? Because Jesus understood this very thing. That it was not about Him!!! Did you get that? Do you understand?

True Justice is Unmitigated

There have been times that I have confronted people who have attempted to harm me. They would then offer to make things right. But the Holy Spirit would not allow me to accept this. Not for myself.

Likewise, there must be a personal commitment not to harm anyone else. The assailant must recognize and take responsibility for his misdeeds. Because it is proven that the law is ineffective in itself.

I remained obedient because many will say, “Okay, I will settle and compromise for selfish gain. I don’t owe the next man anything. Let him fight like I had to”.

What the Spirit imparted to me was to remain self-sacrificing. Altruistic. Because if they could do this to me, they have or intend to do it to others.

It is Not About Us

It is up to me to let them know this is not about me. God is watching and this is an inherent element of His judgment.

You see I am very well aware that if you do me wrong and the Holy Spirit says that He wants me to address it. Know that you are being judged.
I always tell people that when someone points out maltreatment, crookery, or injustice, up to and including murder. How you react, and even your complacency or lack of accountability, is being recorded against you.

This is why it is written. “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified and by the words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12: 36-37, KJV).

And again, James admonishes us to be doers of the word, not just hearers. Not only do you deceive yourselves. God considers you to have acknowledged your intent at deliberate disobedience. (1: 22-23, AMP).

Nevertheless, this is why I believe in accountability. Encouraging people to hold others liable for their actions. But I digress.

The Belly of the Earth

This is the revelation. After Jesus died in His human form, he even experienced the torment of hell.

Let me confirm this. Because many don’t believe in hell. Or they will beguile you with the lie that we who are experiencing life on earth are the ones in hell.

Now hell is not on earth. Rather it is in the center of the earth. Meditate on this for a moment.

“Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But Jesus answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” (Matthew 12: 38-40, KJV).

Your Very Hairs Are Numbered

God is thorough and meticulous. He forgets not one of His creations. Regardless of your fate.

Therefore, you don’t have to prove your authority to anyone. It may even seem small in man’s eyes. But understand your anointing and what you have been ordained to do.

This confirms why we should never feel braggadocious or seek compensation (from a place of greed). Or the need to prove ourselves or seek validation from man.

“Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
“He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, and a smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory” (Matthew 12: 18-20, KJV).

Know who you are in God!!!

Always coming from a place of love and truth.
