The Outer Appearance is Irrelevant!

God has been dealing with me on this subject for a while now. As He is not a respecter of persons.

Let me show you exactly what I mean by this statement. And add a revelation.

When Samuel went to find and anoint the next king over Israel, the LORD sent him to Bethlehem to find Jesse, the father of David. This is what I need you to understand about whom God sends.

Because every day I see videos of people giving prophecies to those with itching ears. The Holy Ghost literally just told me that these are “soothsayers”.

Having Itching Ears

This is the response that Samuel received as a true prophet of the LORD in his obedience to God. “So Samuel did what the LORD said, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the city came trembling to meet him and said, ‘Do you come in peace?'” (1 Samuel 16: 4, AMP).

God commanded us early in His Word, “Do not turn to mediums [who pretend to consult the dead] or to spiritists [who have spirits of divination]; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God” (Leviticus 19: 31, AMP). Yet I digress. I don’t know who that is for, but the Spirit is speaking and has spoken.

God Looks at The Heart

Many of us look at the outward appearance. And this leads to bias, prejudice, and many other forms of discrimination.

The LORD warned Samuel against this. “And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely, the LORD’s anointing is before him.

“But the LORD said unto Samuel, look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature, because I have refused him: (In other words, God rejected him.) for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart” (1 Samuel 16: 6-7, KJV).

What God Has Cleansed, No Man Should Call Common

When Peter was shown in a vision the common and unclean things that he was told to eat, he refused them. God showed this vision to Peter three times.

He admonished Peter. “And the voice came to him a second time. What God has cleansed and pronounced clean, no longer consider common (unholy)” (Acts 10: 15, AMP).

As I have pointed out before, people have used this scripture to justify what they eat. Let’s put this in perspective. And why the enemy hopes that you continue to feign ignorance or deliberate disregard.

God is No Respecter of Persons

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him.

“The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (Now pay attention!) (He is Lord of all)” (Acts 10: 34-36, KJV).

When Peter was confronted by “circumcised” Jews, after the gentiles had received the gift of the Holy Ghost and were baptized. He stood by the vision. “So, if God gave the Gentiles the same gift [equally] as He gave after we accepted and believed and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ [as Savior], who was I to interfere or stand in God’s way” (Acts 11: 17, AMP).

Do Not Be Deceived

Now I want you to pay attention to a revelation that many will not receive. Due to the beguiling of Satan. Those who have low self-esteem and self-worth.

Who have been deceived into believing that they are superior. While wrestling with feelings of inferiority. Choosing to separate themselves if they can’t be worshipped or allowed to oppress others.

Many of these sects are participating in these acts, allowing their idiosyncrasies to be manipulated by powers and principalities, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Having malice towards a people that was created first. As if we can tell God in what order, he should do anything.

God is God

“Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, Him I declare unto you.

“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; (Now pay attention!)

“And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation. That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, thou he be not far from every one of us” (Acts 17: 22-27, KJV).

All Are One in God

This was established by God from the beginning. “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living” (Genesis 3: 20, KJV).

And again, “And God spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee. Bring forth with thee of every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth” (Genesis 8: 15-17, KJV).

And one more time. “And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him saying, As for Me, behold my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations” (Genesis 17: 3-4, KJV).

Are You Content to Love You?

Know who you are in God. Because when you are not content to know that His salvation is being offered to every man, you will never be content.

As I close, I am going to show you that it is not me that you hate, but yourself. And you are upset. Blaming God. But it is self-hate that is destroying you. Summed up in these verses.

1) “But indeed for this very reason I have allowed you to live, in order to show you My power and in order that My name may be proclaimed throughout all the earth. Since you are still [arrogantly] exalting yourself [in defiance] against my people by not letting them go” (Exodus 9: 16-17, AMP).

Some Made for Honor, Some for Dishonor

And 2) “On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers [arrogantly] back to God and dares to defy Him? Will the thing which is formed say to him who formed it, ‘Why have you made me like this?’ Does the potter not have the right over the clay, to make from the same lump [of clay] one object for honorable use [something beautiful or distinctive] and another for common use [something ordinary or menial?]” (Romans 9: 20-21, AMP).

Now this is going to hurt some feelings. You can accept it and deal with it and establish an intimate relationship with Jesus. While working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Or continue to be willingly deceived by the devil. And enter into the same fate that was prepared for him and the fallen angels. Because in the end, God has created all things.
