The Spiritual/Earthly Connection

There are interesting events that are unfolding in the world. The premise? God may ask you to do something or not to do it. To separate yourself from something or someone that added carnal value to you.

The warning. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Because there is no respecter of persons with the LORD. Judgment comes to all. And as Satan is testing the waters. Attempting to bring annihilation upon all mankind. We must have a discerning Spirit.

It is written, “And the people will be like the priest, the servant like his master, the maid like her mistress, the buyer like the seller, the lender like the borrower, the creditor like the debtor [as God’s impartial judgment of sin comes on all].

Destruction is Rampant

“The earth will be completely laid waste and utterly pillaged, for the LORD has spoken this word. The earth dries up and crumbles away, the world dries out and crumbles away, the exalted of the people of the earth fade away.

“The earth also is polluted by its inhabitants, because they have transgressed laws, violated statutes, and broken everlasting covenant.

“Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live on it suffer the punishment of their guilt. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned [under the curse of God’s wrath], and few people are left” (Isaiah 24: 2-6, AMP).

Let it Be Done in Earth As it is In Heaven

There is a divine connection that many are ignoring. Just as it is written in Romans, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (8: 22, KJV).

And again, it is written, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth shall have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth shall have [already] been loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18: 18, AMP).

That is why it is so important to recognize Satan’s attempt to skew these boundaries. He is well aware of the spiritual law concerning God’s Word. Constantly testing how far into the abyss that man will go to fulfill his fleshly lusts and desires.

Go back and meditate on chapter five in the book of Isaiah. To sum it up, it is written, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (5: 20, AMP). This is why being “lukewarm” is despised in the eyes of the LORD.

Heed the Warning

So again, we are warned, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are of God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world” (1 John 4: 1, AMP).

Establishing an intimate relationship with the LORD and His Word is the ONLY way that you can discern the spirit of an individual. God is moving me in another direction.

I see so many “Bible-based”, Christian YouTube channels and prophets proclaiming a word and even condemning others as being fake and phony. But if you know God, you will find that most deviate from His Word. Having sinister self-fulfilling agendas.

We are warned, “But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear].

Mockers and Scoffers Abound

“For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, and profane,

“[and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good,

“traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God,

“holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them” (2 Timothy 3: 1-5, AMP).

The Inner Man Cannot Be Contained

So let me give you further confirmation. We are admonished to beware of those who come to us in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

No one can keep up a facade forever. It is impossible. It is not only what is said, but what is done.

“By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?

“Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire” (Matthew 7: 16-19, AMP).

Be A Doer and Not a Hearer Only

It is simple. “He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2: 4, KJV).
And again. “But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]” (James 1: 22, AMP).

Let me close with this. To give you guidance. “But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law” (Galatians 5: 22-23, AMP).
