When It Is of God!!!

I was restless in my spirit in the early morning, knowing God was calling me to seek Him. I prayed and after a while fell back to sleep.

The power of God is needed in our lives and circumstances daily. And as I finished chapter 5 of the book of Acts when I reawakened, I was filled with joy.

Let me give a manifestation of our walk with God while in the Spirit. As the apostles experienced this, so will you. “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion, and every evil work” (James 3:16, KJV).

Jealousy is as Cruel as The Grave

Pay attention. “But the high priest stood up, along with all his associates (that is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy and resentment. They arrested the apostles and put them in a public jail.

“But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, and leading them out, he said, ‘Go stand and continue to tell the people in the temple [courtyards] the whole message of this Life [the eternal life revealed by Christ and found through faith in Him'” (Acts 5: 17-20, AMP).

When people, including pretenders and lukewarm Christians, see the anointing flowing in, through, and around you, they are not going to like it. Those spirits will despise you.

Do Not Be Afraid

This is what the Spirit reminded me of this morning. “Elisha answered, ‘Do not be afraid, for those with us are more than those who are with them.’ Then Elisha prayed and said, ‘LORD please, open his eyes that he may see.’ And the LORD opened the servants eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha” (2 Kings 6: 16-17, AMP).

Speaking to me again through His Word. “‘Do not be afraid of them [or their hostile faces], for I am with you [always] to protect you and deliver you,’ says the LORD” (Jeremiah 1: 8, AMP).

As I prepare this for you, the Spirit is still speaking. “If I say, ‘I will not remember Him or speak His name anymore,’ Then my heart becomes a burning fire shut up in my bones. And I am weary of enduring and holding it in; I cannot endure it [nor contain it any longer]” (Jeremiah 20: 10, AMP).

The Race is Not to The Swift

Because when those men were freed by the angel of the Lord, they did not run away from their responsibilities. “We found the prison securely locked and the guards standing at the doors, but when we opened [the doors], we found no one inside” (Acts 5: 23, AMP). The council could not fathom how they got out of their cells.

They (the apostles) obeyed the voice of the Lord. “But someone came and told them, ‘The men whom you put in prison are standing [right here] in the temple [area], teaching the people!'” (Acts 5: 25, AMP).

One thing that I have learned in life is that if you allow a person to talk. Without restricting them. They will reveal their motives. Or what is truly in their hearts. Just listen.

There is Power in His Name

“So they brought them and presented them before the Council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court). The high priest questioned them, saying, ‘We gave you strict orders not to continue teaching in this name, and yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and you intend to bring this Man’s blood on us [by accusing us as His murderers]” (Acts 5: 27-28, AMP).

This is why I encourage people to tell the truth. For any type of injustice. It is an ordained spiritual law. Regardless of how it is handled by mere men. Their deeds are being judged.

It is written. “Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous” (Deuteronomy 16: 19, KJV).

Obey God and Live

This is wisdom. “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5: 29, KJV).

And this is the confirmation. Peter did not sugarcoat or mince his words.

“The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

(I digress.  A malevolent spirit would make men think that they have the right to hang a man on a tree. Taking God’s Word out of context. Bringing a curse on the land. By wresting the scriptures. Believing that they are bringing the curse on that man, when they are bringing the curse on themselves. A cruel, barbaric trick of the enemy. Men putting themselves in the place of God.)

You Are Not God

It is written. “And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance” (Deuteronomy 21: 22-23).

This act was intended for the one who committed a crime and the consequence, to be an example to others. As written, “The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death and afterward the hands of all the people. (Now pay attention) So thou shalt put the evil away from among you” (Deuteronomy 17: 7, KJV).

And again, “But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person” (1 Corinthians 5: 13, KJV). The color of ones skin is not a crime nor a sin. You are not God!!!

Do Not Be Deceived

Let me make this plain. Jesus was alive when he was put on the cross. He had committed no crime. This is why it is written, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree” (Galatians 3: 14, KJV). Do you get that? Understand the evil intent behind this act when it is committed by evil men against man. Satan has deceived many.

So let me repeat this, “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

“Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him” (Acts 5: 30-32, KJV).

Confess Your Sins So That Ye May Be Healed

The Spirit has imparted to me even more lately. Many are not saved. They will not see Jesus’s face in peace. Because they refuse to acknowledge their sins.

Do you think that it is the individual who would die without confessing their sins? It is because there is no sincere repentance. For the truly guilty.

Their response. “When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them” (Acts 5: 33, KJV).

When someone is attempting to correct you in love do not harden your hearts. Just know this. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4: 12, KJV).

But God!!!

But when it is of God!!! It will stand!!!

Now this may be a little long but bear with me, and I am almost done. “But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law [of Moses], highly esteemed by all the people, stood up in the Council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) and ordered that the men be taken outside for a little while. Then he said to the Council, ‘Men of Israel, be careful in regard to what you propose to do to these men.

“‘For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody [of importance], and a group of about 400 men allied themselves with him. But he was killed, and all who followed him were scattered about, and came to nothing.

When A Man Thinks Himself to Be Something

“‘After this man, Judas the Galilean rose up, [and led an uprising] during the time of the census, and drew people after him; he was also killed and all of his followers scattered.

“‘So in this present case, I say to you, stay away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or action is of men [merely human in origin], it will fail and be destroyed; but if it is of God [and it appears that it is], you will not be able to stop them; or else you may even be found fighting against God!'” (Acts 5: 34-39, AMP).

Let me close with these three teachings to meditate on:

The Revelation

1) “Remember this, and take courage; take it to heart, you rebellious and disloyal people. Remember [carefully] the former things [which I did] in the past; For I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things which have not [yet] been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will do all that pleases Me and fulfills My purpose'” (Isaiah 46: 9-10, AMP).

2) This is the second day in a row the Holy Ghost has given me this. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please and whereto I sent it” (Isaiah 55: 11, KJV).

Picture 05 - Isaiah 55:11 KJV - So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my - Bible Verse Picture

And finally, 3) “‘I the LORD have spoken; it is coming and I will act. I will not relent, and I will not have compassion and I will not be sorry; in accordance with your ways and in accordance with your deeds I will judge and punish you,’ says the LORD GOD” (Ezekiel 24: 14, AMP).

Always coming from a place of love and in truth!!!
