Who Has Shown Greater Faith Than God?

As I read from the book of Romans, God confirmed His Word in my heart. I watch many documentaries and the one I am watching now is called “American Monster”.

In almost every episode, surviving family and friends say that the killers loved the victims at one time. Or that the victims loved their attackers. I feel strongly that if you do not know God, you do not know love. “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Romans 5: 5, KJV).

I felt the need to mention this because people remain in loveless, abusive relationships, of which I have myself been involved, being manipulated and suffering maltreatment. While remaining in toxic bondage. You can not love yourself, to allow suffering of this form of molestation. Yet I digress.

We Talk of Man’s Faith, But What of God’s Faith?

While reading the book of Romans we hear of Abraham’s faith in God. Let us concentrate on God’s faith in man.

As I contemplate what the scriptures are saying. It occurs to me why faith is so important.

“And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” (Job 1:8, KJV). God allowed Satan power over everything in Job’s life. But he could not take Job’s life.

You see, the promise was given to Abraham while he was yet uncircumcised because of his faith. He received the circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of his faith.

God’s Greatest Display of Faith

The greatest sign of God’s faith in man. “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5: 8, KJV).

Picture 06 - Romans 5:8 KJV - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, - Bible Verse Picture

Look at how Christ was persecuted and tortured for us. As I have written before, in the flesh, I know it took a lot for Jesus to show impartiality in His death. It is written that he began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Grieved and greatly distressed.

We criticize Jesus and say all manner of evil against Him and the Holy Spirit but our real characteristics are shown every day. “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare die” (Romans 5: 7, KJV).

Confirmation of His Love

Another sign of His love and our character. Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. (I will switch to the amplified version for a moment.) But the hired man [who merely serves for wages], who is neither the shepherd nor the owner of the sheep, when he sees the wolf coming, deserts the flock and runs away; and the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them. “The man runs because he is a hired hand [who serves only for wages] and is not concerned about the safety of the sheep”(John 10: 11-13).

Picture 04 - John 10:11 KJV - I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth - Bible Verse Picture

Pay attention. “The man of too many friends [chosen indiscriminately] will be broken in pieces and come to ruin. (Are you listening?) But there is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18: 24, AMP).

Who Are You Loyal To?

There is a requirement. Jesus gives us so much and asks for little in return. We will do this daily for those who care nothing for us. “Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” (John 15: 14, KJV).

You may think that God is asking too much. If so, go back to the beginning of this dialogue. Then watch the docuseries named above. As you meditate on this: “Do you not know that when you continually offer yourselves to someone to do his will, you are the slaves of the one whom you obey, either [slaves] of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness (right standing with God)?” (Romans 6: 16, AMP).

Picture 05 - Romans 6:16 KJV - Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves - Bible Verse Picture

Will you continue to follow those who don’t know what love is? Because this is greater than 97% of those living on Earth at any given time.

The Originator of Faith

For those chosen by God, know that faith is so important to Him because He has faith in you! God’s grace is a gift. Just as when Adam sinned, we have all sinned. And like cancer, we can’t escape the consequences. It is impossible without God.

“Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all people [no one being able to stop it or escape its power], because they all sinned” (Romans 5: 12, AMP). God is holy and just. He will not allow sin to go unchecked. But by faith, He has given us a way of salvation and redemption.

Now let me tell you that spiritual warfare is real, and the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. As I began to write this, I had no idea that the enemy was attempting to come against one of my own.

The Devil Comes to Kill, Steal, and Destroy

We get into these ungodly relationships unaware that the devil desires to take our very lives, if it is not given to him to do so, he will steal, thus killing your soul.

This diabolical manipulator will use whomever he can. And you will watch your loved one’s hearts harden before your very eyes.

Whether it is physical, mental, emotional, and the most deadly, spiritual. Death is imminent if you attempt to ignore what the Holy Ghost is showing you.

Picture 04 - John 10:10 KJV - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to - Bible Verse Picture

Look at your loved ones. Seek God in truth and don’t ignore the signs. Even if they do.

I watched the light going out of a very tender soul. Rejecting what God was showing me.

Harden Not Your Hearts in The Day of Provocation

By the time I had no choice but to act, the decisions, and what Jesus was telling me to do were heartbreaking. And even though my loved one did not see it, Death was coming.

Picture 07 - 1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is - Bible Verse Picture

To move her out of harm’s way, I had to take everything from her. She was forced to walk away from her job. I had to cast her out of my life. Prayerfully, for only a little while.

This attack is very personal. Warfare was surrounding me. Through several avenues. Petty neighbors and coworkers. The devil will use every distraction possible.

We Lie if We Say We Walk in Darkness

When the devil can’t get to God’s anointed, he will attack our loved ones. It is up to us to determine who we trust and who we listen to.

Don’t ignore God when the warning signs first become prevalent. Correcting disobedience will be more costly as you forsake His guidance. Up to and including death.

Picture 07 - Isaiah 26:4 KJV - Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD - Bible Verse Picture

God is merciful. I began to write this as a warning to others. Not knowing that it was a warning to my family and me.

Walking with the Spirit is pivotal. Because the devil is not announcing that he is coming for you. Only to a fool who says in his heart that there is no God.

Being Lukewarm is a Warning

What has been reinforced in my life is that there is no straddling of the fence. Being lukewarm is a warning. And to every action, there may be a reaction. For every decision, there is a consequence.

We have choices to make every day. The ultimate result is to choose good or evil. Life or death. This is where discernment is crucial. Where we must allow the Spirit to guide us. Because the decisions that are made today can be life-altering, lasting for generations. For eternity.

Let me close with these words of wisdom. Please pay attention.

There is No Such Thing as Once Saved Always Saved

1) Know that your name can be blotted from the Book of life. “And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king” (1 Samuel 15: 22-23, KJV).

2) Seek God early. “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;” (Psalm 63: 1, KJV).

Picture 04 - Psalms 63:1 KJV - O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: - Bible Verse Picture

Will You Choose Life or Death

3) Follow the LORD. “The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD, and He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him” (Psalm 37: 23-24, KJV).

4) There are only two paths. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss, and there are many who enter through it.

“But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7: 13-14, AMP).

5) Very few will make it. “And Isaiah calls out concerning Israel: ‘THOUGH THE NUMBER OF THE SONS OF ISRAEL BE LIKE THE SAND OF THE SEA, IT IS ONLY THE REMNANT [a small believing minority] THAT WILL BE SAVED [from God’s judgment]; FOR THE LORD WILL EXECUTE HIS WORD UPON THE EARTH [He will conclude His dealings with mankind] COMPLETELY AND WITHOUT DELAY'” (Romans 9: 27-28, AMP).

The Holy Spirit has impressed upon me to give you one more. Many will and have died if you don’t take heed!!!

When God Delivers You from That Thing, Don’t Go Back!!!

6) When God delivers you from that thing, don’t go back!!! “For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world by [personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition has become worse for them than the first.

“For it would have been better for them not to have [personally] known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to have turned back from the holy commandment [verbally] handed into them. The thing spoken of in the true proverb has happened on to them, ‘THE DOG RETURNS TO HIS OWN VOMIT,’ and, ‘A sow is washed only to wallow [again] in the mire’ (in rottenness, excrement, and filth)'” (2 Peter 2: 20-22, AMP).
